    Hardware Questions

    How do configure the Xeon processor speed?

  • Power off the system and move JP4 to 2-3 and then power on your system. JP4 is located between the DIMM sockets and the processor slots.
  • Set your processor speed in the BIOS and save settings & exit; you will get a message asking you to power down the system.
  • Power off the system and move JP4 back to 1-2.

    What kind of DIMMs should I use?

  • The system board only accepts unbuffered, 3.3V SDRAM DIMM with ECC only.

    Can I use just one DIMM?

  • Yes, the system board will work with one DIMM.

    What is the maximum memory capacity?

  • 2GB: Using four registered 512MB SDRAM DIMMs.
